Entry 1. Temperature transmitter sensors. Temperature sensors are randomly installed discreetly in the street and information gathered is converted into a form of data readable by a device installed on street lamps. After that, data is sent to the Centre of Disease Control and the Centre of Information Security which are under the control of the government. Power dynamics are represented as a pyramid system. This system won’t break down, as it is agreed by the majority to have the greatest benefit. People who oppose the system should come together to challenge the established system and come up with a new scheme. Entry 2. Indoor access record and time transmitter. GPS devices are implanted inside shoe soles to collect your location and time information whenever you go indoors. Every building entrance is designated with a verifying code and installed with a scanner, receiving data from the GPS. Collected data is eventually sent to the government. It is possible to change or resist the system. You can detach the soles from the shoes to disable the device. The Government cannot access the information without the authorization of individuals. Basic health information is stored in a microchip inserted in the neck of individuals and processed while passing through scanning diagnostic centres which are built on every major crossroad. Data is stored for a limited period of time and then discarded. Only information of probable positive cases is transferred to the government. This system is managed by government departments including the Department of Positive Cases Management, Data Monitoring and Data Security, and a non-profit organisation for checks and balances. There are three potential scenarios where the system breaks down. Inordinate checks by the non-profit organisation temporarily disables the role of the information security centre, resulting in leaks of personal information. As a result, any system relying on digital surveillance is no longer used which leads to massive cases of casualties. A cosy relationship between the non-profit organisation and the government leads to citizens’ distrust of the system. The government and its departments lose their authority, resulting in less preventive measures. After failing on disease control, it returns to the existing system or introduces a coercive measure. Citizens distrust the system due to its technical issues on data security at the early stages of introduction. Authority on data security is relegated from the affiliated department to a private company which results in additional problems. Based on the idea that it is impossible to completely secure the data, personal data collection is minimised. Due to lack of information, disease control fails. Authority on data security reverts to the government and the existing system returns. Authority of the non-profit organisation weakens. It is possible to change or resist against the system, however, it will eventually end up developing an authoritarian system or returning to the existing system where citizens cannot interfere. Entry 4. Biochip insert station. Newborn babies are required to have a biochip inserted into their left ear. Each biochip contains a unique residence registration number to identify individuals. It is difficult to change the system but people can resist the system by pursuing a self-sufficient, hippie life.
